This V8 is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission in rear-wheel drive.

Thankfully, the Z06 is finely tuned to accommodate precision handling on and off the track; this is thanks not only to the StabiliTrak stability and traction control system but also the inclusion of the Magnetic Selective Ride Control 4.0, which features electronically controlled damping to dynamically adapt the suspension every millisecond for near-instantaneous adjustments. The design of the 2024 Chevy Corvette Z06 has evolved from the lines and elements of the silhouette from the seventh generation Corvette. However, the switch to a mid-engine design for the eighth-gen makes for improved performance and stability, thanks to being slightly longer and slightly wider than the previous version. The wider footprint improves handling and stability, while the more aerodynamic design helps with downforce and control at higher speeds.
Even with a greater focus on enhanced performance, the 2024 Corvette Z06 still manages to retain its undeniable style that has helped reshape expectations in the sports car segment.
