2015 Impala Comes Standard with Stop/Start Technology
Welcome back to the official blog of McCluskey Chevrolet. When it comes to looking for a new or previously-owned car, truck, or SUV, there is only one of the many Cincinnati used car dealers you need to remember. That’s McCluskey Chevrolet.
Now is a GREAT time to purchase a new Chevrolet vehicle at McCluskey with the Chevy Open House Event. Special pricing is waiting for you on most 2014 models, and the only way for you to believe these great deals, is to come down and see them for yourself! Models like the Cruze, Malibu, Traverse, and Equinox are just a few of the models that we are offering at deep discounts, where the price you see, is the price you pay!
Until then, check out this report from Chevrolet that all of the 2015 Impala vehicles will come standard with stop/start technology.
Not only is Start/Stop technology more convenient for the driver, it will also help improve the 2015 Impala fuel economy by just about five percent, along with the 2.5-liter EcoTec engine. The Impala comes standard with the four-cylinder engine, which offers customers higher fuel economy ratings and a lower sticker price than the six-cylinder models.
The 2015 Impala will become the second vehicle that Chevrolet has made Stop/Start technology standard, the first being the 2014 Chevy Malibu.
Start/Stop technology shuts off the engine in the vehicle during specific driving conditions in order to help reduce fuel consumption. Chevy engineers worked hard to ensure that the stop/start technology on the Impala accounted for everything, including “change of mind events” in which the driver decides not to stop after already committing to stopping the vehicle.
The start/stop technology in the 2015 Impala is the most advanced that this type of technology has seen, and we for one can’t wait to check it out!
