2014 Callaway Corvette

Ever since the latest Corvette Stingray was introduced to the market, Cincinnati and Indianapolis Chevy dealerships have been seeing a high demand for America’s favorite sports car. Owning a Corvette is a bragging right in and of itself, but owning a supercharged Corvette specially tuned by Callaway, is even more impressive yet. A while back, we let you know that the automotive engineering and manufacturing corporation was working on a charged-up version of the Stingray, but now that the car is finally here – we have the official numbers.

Originally, Callaway reported that their latest tuned Corvette would have around 620 horsepower, and at least 600 pound-feet of torque. Boy were they wrong. And we don’t think that potential buyers will be disappointed in what the actual figures ended up being.

The Callaway Corvette Differences

To start, Callaway’s latest version of the Corvette actually has been rated at 627 horsepower, with 610 pound-feet of torque. The numbers go above and beyond what they were predicting, and ‘Vette enthusiasts aren’t complaining. What what exactly does the Callaway Corvette have that is different from the stock version? We are glad you asked.

  • 6.2-liter supercharged V8
  • Redesigned patent-pending supercharger complete with a brand new intake manifold and an inter-cooler featuring three liquid-to-air cooling elements.
  • The supercharger engine protrudes through the hood of the Corvette, making the cooling of the engine even more possible
  • Callway’s ‘Vette has 145 pound-feet of torque above what the original has
  • The price of the Callaway Corvette starts at $22,995, plus the cost of the donor car
