cheap oil change

While cheap oil changes and good fuel economy can help save some money, so can the right kind of fuel. As a culture, we absolutely love saving money wherever we can. Automakers are keenly aware of this fact, and the technology that is put into vehicles is a testament to that fact. From hybrid model cars, to all electric, to flex fuel and diesel options – car makers are making numerous cost saving options available to consumers on any budget. In years past, diesel vehicles were a more popular option, but as the auto industry evolved, diesel engines became less readily available. In recent years, automakers have begun to recognize the fact that diesel engines are once again a viable, and cost-saving option. Chevrolet just so happens to be one of the brands that have recognized this, and they are going one step further and taking action.

Automotive News is reporting that the all new Chevy Colorado will also be available in a diesel version. The small pickup with a 2.5 liter or 2.8 liter four-cylinder under the hood, will sport a Duramax turbo-diesel engine. Currently, this option is available in the Brazil and Thailand versions of the pickup. While the official announcement from Chevrolet has not yet been made, inside sources confirm the rumors that also state the diesel version of the pickup won’t be available until the fall of 2015, one year after the new designed Colorado will become available in US markets.

General Motors, Chevrolet’s parent company, will be the third manufacturer to add diesel-powered light-weight trucks to their lineup – and we are excited to get it on our lot!
