Stop by McCluskey Chevrolet in the Kings Automall in October when the all-new Chevy Sonic will be on display and ready for you to test drive and buy. You’ll love the fact you’re surrounded by 10 air bags and have the added peace-of-mind that your new gas sipping Sonic is protecting you from space with the GPS enabled OnStar technology…ask your sales associate for a full demonstartion when you visit McCluskey Chevrolet.
A great new feature that is standard on all manual transmission Chevy Sonic’s is the “Hill Hold Technology”. This feature allows you to get started without rolling backward or forward on hills. A pitch sensor detects the tilt of the body when the car is stopped on a slope and sends a signal to the stability control system. This triggers the electronically controlled brake hardware to keep the wheels clamped for up to two seconds after the driver releases the brake pedal on their new Chevy Sonic! “it will retain the exact breaking force that the driver applied with the chassis control system and hold the Sonic in place,” says Keith McCluskey CEO of McCluskey Chevrolet. “That’s long enough for the driver to safely apply the accelerator and gradually let out the clutch for a nice smooth start, always heading in the right direction.”
