Corvette ZR1 I-CAR Training

I-Car just announced it will offer a 3 day hands-on used Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 training course.

The training course will provide individuals with the same training that Corvette ZR1 certified collision repair technicians receive. Students will enhance their knowledge and skills in aluminum vehicle repair by performing sectioning activities and hands-on welding and riveting repairs on Corvette ZR1 space frames.

Vehicle makers are continually looking for ways to lighten vehicle structures and there is a strong likelihood that the industry will see more aluminum-intensive vehicles. The I-CAR Corvette ZR1 course offers a tremendous opportunity for repairers to receive a premier training experience, as well as earn credit toward the I-CAR Platinum Individual designation.

Students will meet the requirements for the 2011 I-CAR ProLevel 1 Aluminum Structural Technician role, as defined in the I-CAR Professional Development Program, following successful completion of the training.
