Lingenfelter’s Chevrolet Reaper Conversion Kit

A Silverado that has been turned up to 11!

Have you ever wanted to skyrocket across the desert? If you have thought it was possible with most vehicles, it is not. In fact, right now the options out there are severely limited with just the F-150 SVT Raptor being up to the challenge. We are Chevy people though, through and through, so what is a person to do? Some people would simply opt to walk through the desert instead of driving a Blue Oval vehicle across it, but there has to be a better option! Although options have been disturbingly limited, there is a vehicle you won’t find simply stumble upon at Cincinnati auto dealers, and it is up to the challenge thanks to Lingenfelter’s conversion kit.

In a new project from Lingenfelter and Southern Comfort Automotive, fans of the lovely Bowtie are given a desert-worthy truck of their very own. That’s right, and it is known as the 2014 Chevrolet Reaper. Never heard of it? Well, it is the result of a conversion kit that takes an already great Chevy Silverado up to the next level. The body is restyled with a new front fascia and the appropriate skid plates and bumpers, while the 20-inch wheels tightly wrapped in 33-inch off-road tires will be giving you all the grip you need. It features LED running lights, a Corsa exhaust, a racing suspension from Fox, and a custom gauge pack.

There are some optional goodies as well, like the Raptor-esque rear graphics package, a set of 17-inch, beadlocked wheels with off-road tires and, of course, a supercharger and engine massaging package from Lingenfelter. Conversion kits for this pickup on steroids will be sold through select Chevy dealers, and it was unveiled just last week. It is a pretty crazy conversion kit, and we can’t wait to see how one of these mean trucks can ride.
