General Motors is revolutionizing America’s rich automotive landscape with its commitment to building a greener future with zero emissions and zero crashes. Chevrolet is an integral part of that vision, and as such, so is McCluskey Chevrolet. As one of the leading Chevy dealers in Cincinnati, we’re incredibly proud of our role in Chevrolet’s vision, especially when it means sharing the future of the Chevy lineup and everything our customers can expect from the beloved bowtie brand.

So, what does Chevrolet have in store for the future? There’s a common theme in the Chevy fleet, and it’s all about electrifying the future and giving drivers more opportunities to answer their need for speed and performance. Here’s everything you can expect from Chevrolet over the next few years!

Silverado EV: 2024

Chevrolet made headlines with the introduction of the all-new Silverado EV that’s slated to debut in 2024 and poses a direct threat to rivals like the Ford F-150 Lightning. Chevy’s electric truck builds on the best-selling Silverado and is marketed as “the pickup reimagined.” What does this mean?

The Silverado EV takes everything you love about the popular workhorse and electrifies it. Available as a Work Truck (WT) or RST, the Silverado EV proves that an electric truck can not only meet the demands of the road but can also exceed your expectations of everything you thought a truck should be. So how does it accomplish such a feat? GM’s Ultium Platform is responsible for the hype.

The Ultium Platform gives the Silverado a sleek design and allows the truck to leverage the 24-module Ultium battery pack to deliver exceptional power and range. On the fleet-designed WT, this power translates to 510 horsepower, 615 lb-ft of instant torque, a towing capacity of 8,000 pounds, and a payload of 1,200 pounds. In addition, you can expect the WT’s towing capacity to climb to 20,000 pounds with the upcoming max tow package.

The RST First Edition splits its focus between power, luxury, and innovative tech. Its Wide Open Watts Mode boosts the truck’s electric powertrain to 664 horsepower and 780 lb-ft of instant torque for a launch from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. This sheer power doesn’t dramatically impact the Silverado EV’s range, which averages 400 miles on a full charge. So it’s no surprise that this next-level power pushes the RST to incredible capability, with a trailering capacity of 10,000 pounds that’s optimized by advanced technology like trailering-capable Super Cruise that allows you to take your hands off the wheel on compatible roadways.

Blazer EV: 2024

Chevy reintroduced the Blazer in 2019, igniting new interest in the former best-seller. By 2024, that interest will reach new heights with the Blazer EV that shares the same Ultium Platform as the upcoming Silverado EV. So, what can you expect from the all-electric SUV?

The Blazer EV lineup will include the 1LT, 2LT, RS, and the first-ever electric SS performance-inspired model. Chevrolet will also offer the Blazer EV as a Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV), extending its applications as a fleet model. Beyond the PPV, the Blazer EV’s trims will distinguish themselves with unique features like the RS blue and red contrast stitching and the Adrenaline Red seats on the SS. You’ll also find plenty of luxuries and innovative technology across the lineup, including heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a 17.7-inch infotainment system, an 11-inch Driver Information Center, and Super Cruise.

The biggest question regarding the Blazer EV is its capability and power. Will it deliver the same engaging experience we’ve come to expect from the Blazer? The answer is a resounding “yes,” thanks to the Ultium Platform. For example, opting for the all-new Blazer EV SS or Super Sport performance model puts you behind the wheel of an AWD SUV that produces 557 horsepower and 648 lb-ft of instant torque with a launch from 0 to 60 mph in less than four seconds. In addition, the model’s front Brembo brakes and sport-tuned chassis optimize the SUV’s handling, while advanced technology like the head-up display and full-display camera mirror put everything you need within immediate view.

Corvette Z06: 2023

Chevrolet’s future isn’t solely electric as the automaker continues to improve upon legends like the Corvette. The 2023 Corvette Z06 is the latest iteration of the mid-engine marvel and is what Chevrolet calls “a new American supercar that puts the world on notice.” Riding the heels of the mid-engine Corvette Stingray, the Corvette Z06 has some big shoes to fill. Will the new Z06 rise to the occasion?

The Corvette Z06 makes a stunning first impression by blending bold and functional design elements to give the legend an exotic, wider, and more confident stance. It’s a supercar that dreams are made of, featuring a reconfigurable rear spoiler that improves high-speed stability and cornering, a front fascia that optimizes cooling, and the largest “spider” wheels in Corvette history. Behind the scenes, its specifically tuned suspension, updated brakes, and innovative features like Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 make it the most capable Corvette ever to take the track.

Inside, the Corvette Z06 is just as impressive with its elevated cockpit encompassing the driver, delivering a genuine supercar experience. High-quality materials enhance the Z06’s design, while an array of interior and exterior color options give you every opportunity to customize the supercar to your specific style. Add in the Z06’s exceptional suite of cutting-edge technology, and there’s no question that the legend lives up to the hype, putting rivals on notice that it’s here to steal the spotlight.

Stealing the spotlight is even easier when you look at what’s powering the icon. The Z06 distinguishes itself with its all-new 5.5L LT6 engine, the highest horsepower, naturally aspirated V8 engine to make its way into a production car. The rumbling powerplant pushes the Z06 to its limits, achieving 670 horsepower at 8,400 RPM and 460 lb-ft of torque at 6,300 RPM for immediate acceleration and responsiveness at every speed.

The Z06’s capability and next-level performance are enhanced by its track-proven technologies that give you greater control over the supercar’s performance. Chevy’s Magnetic Selective Ride Control 4.0 comes standard on the model and adjusts the Z06’s ride quality for touring or racing. Switching into Track Mode activates Launch Control, which delivers maximum off-the-line acceleration to put the Z06 immediately in the lead. Technology like Performance Traction Management helps you maintain that lead by offering five settings that adjust torque and braking when on the track.

The Future Looks Bright

A few years ago, General Motors announced its plans to transform its lineup to build a future with zero emissions and zero crashes. At the time, the project seemed grandiose and, to many, unachievable because of its broad scope. Fortunately for us, General Motors has proven its ability to deliver on its promise, as we’ve seen with Chevrolet’s upcoming models.

The Silverado EV and Blazer EV showcase Chevrolet’s focus on building a greener future, but they also do something more. They make electric vehicles more accessible to the masses. Affordably priced, the Silverado EV and Blazer EV don’t force drivers to choose between affordability, capability, or luxury. Instead, they prove you can have it all and more in an EV, especially when you consider the tax breaks of purchasing an EV and the thousands of dollars you’ll save each year on fuel.

The Corvette Z06 also does something remarkable for Chevrolet’s future by showcasing the automaker’s commitment to its heritage. It builds on the legacy of the Corvette, paying homage to its past and ushering the supercar into a future of modern innovations. It’s this balance that gives Chevrolet an incredible edge in the industry, and it’s why so many drivers remain loyal to one of America’s most beloved automotive pioneers.
