The brilliantly creative team that is responsible for Chevrolet’s 2014 Corvette is beginning production on a new version of the C7 generation. A limited edition of the car will be  released, totaling only 500 of the special Premiere Edition C7, which is sure to make it an instant collectable. A release party for the car will be held in Bowling Green, KY at the National Corvette Museum, where they will be unveiling the 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe Premiere Edition. Cincinnati car dealerships are hoping to be able to get a glimpse of what will be a rare collectable in a long-line of famous cars that have come before it.

All 500 cars will be top-spec 3LT models, and will also each sport Chevy’s Laguna Blue Tintcoat paint with Brownstone suede upholstery for the interior of the cars. While the main appearance of the vehicle will remain constant throughout all of the Premiere Edition models, Chevy will offer a number of appearance upgrades to the lucky future owners. Among the upgrades are a carbon fiber roof, suede and carbon fiber trim in the interior, “Stingray” kickplates with matching wheel caps, and of course a twin set of Thule “Stingray” luggage. Ford dealers in Cincinnati are more than anxious to get an up-close glimpse of what is sure to be a visual and mechanical masterpiece.

Aside from the visual spectacles, the Premiere Edition will also come with the Z51 performance package, and Chevy’s very own Magnetic Selective Ride Control. It will boast a 6.2 liter engine, with 450 horsepower LT1 V8. This car is sure to not only impress visually, but with these specs, it will be a mechanical masterpiece.
