One of the signature models of the Chevy lineup, the Chevy Malibu represents a brilliant combination of athletic, new-age style, exhilarating engine options, innovative technology features and world-class comfort. As a result, the Chevy Malibu has been a premier option for drivers throughout the years. With all that being said, Chevy designers are always looking to improve on already stellar models and the next-generation 2016 Chevy Malibu is a product of that process. At McCluskey Chevrolet, we have fallen in love with the current 2015 Chevy Malibu, but the 2016 Chevy Malibu release date and design promises even greater things to come, creating tremendous excitement around the dealership.

So, when can you expect to see the next-generation 2016 Chevy Malibu? The unveiling of the new Malibu will take place at the New York International Auto Show in April. We can’t wait for the cover to come off of this Chevy masterpiece, because it means we are one step closer to getting behind the wheel. If you like what you hear so far, or you are simply a fan of the Chevy Malibu lineup, the 2016 Chevy Malibu is scheduled to go on sale by the end of 2015.

For the next-generation of the Chevy Malibu, Chevy designers started from scratch, developing brand new architecture. The new design will provide a wheelbase that is four inches longer than the current Malibu, which will increase rear-passenger legroom and generate a more spacious, interior. You may be thinking that this means sacrificing fuel economy and handling, but that’s not the case. A new high-strength, lightweight steel structure will trim 300 pounds of body fat, leading to significant increases in fuel economy and handling. Drivers will also love the new sleeker profile, front wheels that have been moved forward and sculpted side body panels.

We can’t wait for the 2016 Chevy Malibu to hit the McCluskey Chevrolet showroom floor at the end of 2015 and we hope you are just as excited as us.
