About Rocky Ridge

Family owned and operated for more than thirty years, Rocky Ridge started off as a small-time business that specialized in GM conversion vans in the mid-eighties; eventually, transforming into a full-line specialty vehicle manufacturer. Now, Rocky Ridge focuses on building lifted SUVs, vans, trucks, and cars.

As the Rocky Ridge name grew, so to did its network. Now, Rocky Ridge serves dealerships all over the United States. If a dealership is a certified Rocky Ridge dealership, all a customer needs to do is order the Rocky Ridge model that he or she wants and then wait for it to be delivered to that dealership for purchase.

Rocky Ridge models aren’t only great looking, they’re highly capable. And not just in an off-road environment, either. Rocky Ridge made sure that every single one of its modified off-road rigs is able to perform agreeably on-road as well. Rocky Ridge trucks, in particular, are able to haul and tow trailers like the manufacturer intended post-conversion, while still maintaining a smooth on-road ride for both drivers and passengers.

Speaking of conversions, they’re all done in-house at Rocky Ridge, which allows the Rocky Ridge team to focus fully on their models from start to finish, along every step of the way. Nine different facilities make up Rocky Ridge Custom Trucks, and each building is fully dedicated to a specific step of the process. In other words, each truck goes through nine different facilities — and phases — before becoming a fully converted vehicle.

Rocky Ridge has gained such a great amount of popularity, that its packages and custom rigs have featured in numerous music videos for the Florida Georgia Line (a popular country music duo), and are associated with other country music artists, like Jason Aldean, Jeb Burton, and Colt Ford.

Rocky Ridge Silverado Models

But, enough of the pop music lesson. Let’s talk about some of the specialized truck models (and packages) that Rocky Ridge offers. Keep in mind: some dealerships will either get the Rocky Ridge packages and install them themselves, or they will order a fully-assembled model. McCluskey Chevrolet takes the latter route, and we’re the only dealer in Ohio that does.

Naturally, most of the packages and custom-builds are focused around the new Silverado, since that’s the flagship of the Chevrolet brand. But, Rocky Ridge does offer a few other packages for other models as well.

Silverado K2

The Silverado K2 package (or model) is one of the most popular sellers. It’s loaded to the brim with exterior, aesthetic additions, signature badging, custom wheels, and one of Rocky Ridge’s suspension kits.

On the outside, you’ll find things like painted pocket style fender flares, color keyed bow ties, oval black step bars, and a black dual exhaust with black ceramic exhaust tips. Signature badging found on the Silverado K2 includes K2 front door/tailgate emblems, and Rocky Ridge tailgate and windshield emblems.

The custom wheels and tire package adds on 20” black off-road wheels, and 35” all-terrain tires mounted on those wheels. Four wheel alignment, a complete system recalibration, and road force balancing are all done on this model. The truck will perform exceptionally off-road, while maintaining it’s stock on-road performance.

As far as the suspension lift goes, it’s Rocky Ridge’s 6” lift kit, which includes e-coated front and rear cross members, e-coated front strut tower extension, e-coated full front skid plate compression struts, a brake-line relocation bracket, an add-a-leaf rear spring, and RR 2.0 nitrogen charged rear shocks.

With the suspension lift and tires, you’ll be able to conquer anything and everything on the off-road trails.

Premium options include: custom leather seating, carbon fiber interior trim, spray-in bed liner, flow master muffler, custom fade paint, custom two-tone paint, power steps, and a bull bar with LED lights.

Silverado Stealth XL

The Silverado Stealth XL is an interesting looking truck. It has a full stealth coated exterior, which means it’s entirely blacked out apart from the headlights and tail lights. Rocky Ridge front and rear full low profile bumpers aid in the Stealth XL’s tactical appearance, along with an integrated 20” light bar, and stealth coated headache rack with a 50” LED light bar. Rear facing LED spot lights are also available, and the truck also features a stainless steel dual exhaust with black ceramic exhaust tips. Stealth coated pocket style fender flares round off the design. Even the bowties are stealth.

It has the same 6” lift kit with front and rear cross-members from Rocky Ridge, as well as their front strut tower extension. Compression struts, brake-line relocation brackets, and ES 9000 rear shocks finish off the performance side of things.

Premium options include custom leather seating, spray-in bed liner, and a flow master muffler system. Again, signature Stealth and Rocky Ridge badging is present.

Silverado Alpine

You might not be looking for something as intense as the two mentioned above. If that’s the case, Rocky Ridge has some more toned-down (but still more than capable) packages and models. Like the Alpine, for example. A model that’s style is attractive, in part, because of its simplicity.

Characterized by color keyed bow ties, power step boards, stainless steel dual exhaust, black ceramic exhaust tips, black bow ties, power-side steps, and color keyed slim-line fender flares as the main exterior modifications, the Alpine still sits atop 35” tires, but instead has Rocky Ridge’s 4” coil-over performance lift kit. Other enhancements include: compression struts, stage II front coil-over shocks, e-coated front and rear cross-members, a brake-line relocation bracket, an add-a-leaf rear spring, and RR 3.0 brushed aluminum rear shocks.

If you want to add a little more flair to it, you can always opt for the stealth coated OEM bumpers and grille, and the matte black carbon fiber interior trim from the premium options.

Maintenance and Warranty

Regardless of which package or pre-built model you decide to get, they come with a maintenance and care USB drive, along with a 3-year or 36,000-mile warranty.
