Volt Earns IIHS Top Safety Pick+
Whether you are staying right here in Cincinnati, or driving over to Indianapolis, it’s important that your car can keep you safe. In fact, one of the items that we see the most on customer’s must-have lists, is safety. Aside from your car getting you from Point A to Point B, you want to be sure that you are safe while getting there. The Chevy Volt has been on the blog and on our minds a lot lately, most recently with news that the 2016 Volt will be debuting by early next year. Today’s news is a great win for the Volt and its drivers, as it has earned the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) Top Safety Pick+.
The IIHS gave the Chevy Volt the highest marks for safety in its latest awards. The Volt was up against eleven other small cars that were put through a small overlap front test, and it was the only one to offer a forward collision warning system and get a good score.
