Chevrolet and Barrett-Jackson, the world’s greatest automotive auction company, have worked together for a long time. When Chevy rolled out the new Corvette ZR1, they auctioned off the very first one in 2008. Last year, they did it again when they auctioned off the first 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible. Those two auctions made $1,000,000 and $600,000 respectively, so Chevy was expecting big things for their 2014 Stingray auction. This year, bidders got the chance to bid on the red-hot new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The winner gets to select their color and options so they’ll definitely go home happy. The auction was pretty intense, and it ended up at an incredible dollar amount. The best part is that all the proceeds went to benefit the College for Creative Studies!
