Accessories Worth Considering for an Active 2018

No matter where you are in the United States, no matter the weather conditions that you are experiencing in March, one fact remains: Spring is coming.

And with this change of seasons, we not only open the door to one season but gain two more in quick succession, all of which support a wide range of outdoor activities. Hiking. Biking. Kayaking. Fishing. Watersports and even camping. This list goes on and on.

By no means are we diminishing such seasonal sports as skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling or snow-shoeing – but three of those sports include the word ‘snow’ and (frankly) we’re tired of that word at this point. Even ice-skating makes us cringe a bit if we’re completely honest.

That said, many of the warm-weather activities that we plan to enjoy for the next 6+ months are made much easier when you have the proper well-equipped vehicle. Have you ever tried to strap a kayak to the top of a Chevy Spark? We wouldn’t recommend it. Even certain crossovers and SUVs find themselves overwhelmed by the demands of certain gear, payload or towing demands.

So, if you’re planning to make the most of the warmer months in 2018 (and are fortunate enough to have a truck) here are a few truck accessories that are worth moving to the top of your upgrade list.
