Chevy at 100..Iconic Brand Leaves Pop Culture Imprint
If you’re under fifty you won’t have a clue, but for those of us old enough to remember, who could possibly forget Dina Shore and her 20 year run as Chevy’s key media spokesperson, singing, “See the USA in your Chevrolet, America is asking you to call?” From the early 50’s to the late 60’s, Dinah Shore was clearly the voice all over America for Chevrolet. I hope you enjoyed the trip down memory lane as much as I did? It’s Chevy at 100…it just doesn’t get any better than this! There is very little doubt that it’s a “step back in time,” but I’m confident that you found every second worth it? And, If you like or love cars, this iconic brand (Chevy) has left a very special imprint on pop culture from both the 20th and 21st Century.
One of my favorites is, “What is cool about your favorite classic Chevy?” (link to pic of Chevy’s in my yard, and all the grandkids in my 57 Chevy )…Well, what can I say, it’s Sunday again at Kelsey’s…another typical display of the hottest Chevy’s (link to our inventory) on sale now at McCluskey Chevrolet. Oh, and a special treat this Sunday…the grandkids wanted to “show off” PaPa’s 1957 Chevy Bel Air, Pillar’d Post 4 Door Sedan. I know what your wondering, does it ride as good as it looks? You bettcha!
