The Stingray’s Style

January 31st, 2013 by

Now that the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is out for the world to see, people have had a lot of questions about it. One of the more asked about design elements is the aerodynamics. Why is the body shaped the way it is, and how does that help the overall performance of the vehicle? Let us here at McCluskey Chevrolet, your home for an Oil Change Cincinnati residents can trust, help you shed a little light on the matter.

The car’s chief engineer, Tadge Juechter, has been hearing these questions a lot as well. He decided that it would be best if he released a video where he covers some of the basics of the design decisions that went into the Corvette’s creation. We here at Auto Parts in Cincinnati weren’t surprised to hear that many of the advanced techniques used in the Stingray come from GM’s extensive racing background!
