The American Sign Museum is located right here in Cincinnati on Monmouth street, and is a unique organization that features a “full range of American signage.” Whether or not you think you are a fan of signs, we think you should go down and check out the museum. You will be surprised how much history and culture exist behind these symbolic fixtures, and it’s a great place to take the kids for a fun history lesson this summer break. The museum offers guided tours Wednesday and Thursday at 11am and 2pm, as well as at 2pm on Sundays. You will be guided through the museum by the founder himself, and learn fascinating facts about these historic signs.
