College football season is starting up, and Chevrolet is showing it’s true colors by supporting the University of Texas Longhorns football team.

Whether you are a die-hard football fan, or simply enjoy watching a few games each season, you will appreciate what Chevrolet is doing in support of America’s favorite college football organization.

2015 Silverado: Longhorns Edition

The brand new 2015 University of Texas Chevrolet Silverado Longhorns edition is officially in production. Chevrolet announced its intention to create this unique version of its full-size pickup truck just a few days ago, and fans are already going crazy for the Sunset Orange Metallic Silverado. So what is so special about this edition of the Silverado? Check out a few of the one-of-a-kind details below.

  • Special edition Sunset Orange Metallic Paint job
  • Special University of Texas Longhorns graphics package
  • Chrome side-steps
  • 20-inch wheels
  • Texas edition badge
  • Spray-in bed liner
  • Can be ordered as a double cab or crew cab in LT or LTZ trim

The Texas Edition package, as it is officially being called, will cost fans just $795 extra on top of the $29,600 sticker price. Not bad considering all of the special updates the truck will come fitted with. In Texas, Longhorn fans live in one out of every three households. Chevrolet designed the special-edition Silverado especially for these fans, and we are sure that they will love the unique pickup. Whether or not you live in Texas, the UT Longhorns Silverado will be available for purchase come October. Fans in other states can order it from a dealer, but shouldn’t expect to see it in dealerships outside of Texas.
