Interbrand’s 2014 Best Global Green Brands

Each year, Interbrand releases a list of the Best Global Green Brands from that year. Interbrand is the world’s leading brand consulting agency, and to arrive at their Global Green Brands results, they measure “market perception and actual environmental performance of a company and its products.” Chevrolet immediately was recognized as a top performer for the 2014 year.

The Global CEO of Interbrand, Jez Frampton, helped summarize why Chevrolet has made such an impact on the top global green brand study. “What was most compelling about Chevrolet’s data was the very small gap between public perception and environmental performance. The company is not only actively demonstrating its environmental commitment; it’s communicating those efforts in an authentic way that resonates with customers.”
