Chevy Takes over Woodward Dream Cruise

If you are fans of the automotive world like we are, then you no doubt would be interested in the Woodward Dream Cruise. It is the largest single-day car enthusiast event in the world, and draws over 1.5 million fans from around the world – all in one action-packed day. If you are one of the many people who plan to attend the event, be sure to get your vehicle’s oil changed before heading up to southeast Michigan for the exciting festivities.

Chevy & Woodward: A Deep-Rooted History

Chevrolet has been the presenting sponsor of the Woodward Dream Cruise for the past four years, and will make no exception for the 2014 season. It only makes sense for Detroit’s own car manufacturer to be front and center at the event, which takes place on the famous Woodward Avenue. Chevrolet and parent company General Motors have been working hard to make sure the event goes off without a hitch. Check out everything our favorite automotive brand will be doing at the 2014 Woodward Dream Cruise.

• On August 13 from 1pm-9pm, General Motors Design will be hosting the ‘Design on Woodward’ car show which will feature more than 100 personal vehicles owned by GM design team members. Live musical performances will enhance this experience for those who attend.
• From Thursday August 14 through Saturday August 16, The Chevrolet Performance Display will be located on Woodward Avenue and 13 Mile Road. Along with multiple performance vehicles from the Hot Rod Power Tour, Chevrolet will have performance parts and accessories available for your car. An IndyCar engine and car will also be on display.
• August 16 is the official Woodward Cruise day, and Chevrolet will be there with it’s full lineup of brand new vehicles. A few classics as well as the stars of the new Transformers: Age of Extinction, will also be on display.
• The Chevrolet Certified Service Rescue Squad will also be on patrol helping those classic cruisers who may need it. Look for the six red Chevy Silverados ready to help whoever needs it!
