Chinese Tuner Turns A Z4 Into A Golden Dragon

Z4 Golden Dragon

Tuners love to deck out cars. It is a really cool hobby, and we love to see what they come up with. Just like all cars, they still need routine maintenance such as oil changes, but something about them almost seems ethereal. Today’s tuned out car was once a recognizable BMW Z4. A luxury car, they are famous for their raw power. Do you know what else is famous for its (fabled) raw power? Dragons. That’s exactly what these Chinese tuners thought, as they transformed the Z4 into a golden dragon (on wheels). Adorned with dragon wings, a tail and claws, the ‘dragon’ also has accessories sculpted out of yak bones.

This is most definitely something else, from that golden paint job to the yak bone, it seems like these tuners don’t seem to settle for the subtleties of life at all. The front of the car is the snout of the dragon, sporting whiskers and sitting in front of two beady eyes. While the claws sit above the gold rims, the part that we are probably most intrigued by is the wings. The tuners used the cars butterfly doors as their wings, transforming them with feathered wings. The trunk is weighed down by the scaly tail of the beast, and does not seem like it would be very easy to open. The piece has been exhibited at the China Import and Export fair in the southern Guangdong province, where it managed to turn quite a few heads. We feel like it would be hard to miss with that color scheme! It seems like painstaking work, and despite the tackiness, it is incredibly impressive. We can’t even begin to imagine the amount of time that went into the shaping of that yak bone. What are your thoughts on the tuners work?
