Man served with divorce papers takes revenge of the smelly-kind
Revenge can make people crazy. The desire to get revenge can strike at any time, and for any reason. Whether it’s a petty argument that leads to retaliation, or something much more serious, it seems that there is a drive in the human psyche that demands vengeance when we feel it is deserved. Oftentimes, the act of revenge leads to legal consequences, and it can happen in bigger cities like Cincinnati, or small rural towns like it did in Montreal this past weekend.
Rene Daniel was not happy when his estranged wife served him with papers for divorce. After stewing in his own misery (and probably fury) for a few days, Daniel came up with a plan. He executed that plan at the home of his soon-to-be ex wife, in Sainte-Émélie-de-l’Énergie, a small town in Quebec, Canada last week. Daniel, who apparently had access to large amounts of manure, drove his tractor to his wife’s house while it was filled with manure. He proceeded to fill her hot tub and front yard with the excrement, before police were alerted and arrived at the scene.
Daniel jumped into his tractor, and a ten mile-per-hour police chase ensued. After a mile of the slow-chase nonsense, police forced Daniel to pull over where he was arrested for destruction of property and trespassing. While Daniel’s revenge tactic is quite comical, I am sure that his soon-to-be ex-wife has different emotions that she wishes to express towards her estranged husband.
